Most of these photos are from Aurora Speedway in the 1950s, a racetrack which was located in north Seattle. My dad, George Cronn, was active in NW racing during this time period. These photos are from his collection.

Aurora Speedway, Seattle, 1950
My dad took this photo at Seattle’s Aurora Speedway in 1950. It's one of only 2 color photos from the Speedway in his collection. I don't have any other information about the photo.
Big car (Indy style) racing was done for a few years in the '50s. Not so good. Midgets remained the bread and butter of the track. As a kid, I bought many photos from the 'official' track photographer. As with many things from the past, they are long gone.
