This photo was taken at Seattle's Aurora Speedway in 1953. The man in front of the car is Jack Conner the owner & driver of number 65. The tall guy on the right in the racing jacket is my dad, George Cronn who was the mechanic for the car. The Aurora Speedway opened in 1932 and shared space at the Playland amusement park on Aurora Avenue North (Highway 99) at North 130th Street. Playland and the Speedway closed in 1961.
